The Cotswold Way National Trail

This September we plan to walk the Cotswold Way national trail from Chipping Campden to Bath. It is 102 miles/ 164km long and moderately challenging with some steep sections. With some reasonably lightweight gear and by keeping things simple, we will be carrying about 8kg (18lb) each. I will be trying out minimalist footwear, opting for Merrell barefoot trail running shoes instead of traditional hiking boots.
